Our Policy

We cannot accept returns for change of mind. However, we stand behind our products and want you to be happy with your purchase.

14-Day Exchange Policy

Wrong size? We get it. Within 14 days of delivery, we'll exchange your item for a different size There's a $5 flat rate return shipping fee (we'll send you a prepaid label).

To request an exchange:

  • Email support@departmentoftrouble.com
  • Include your order number and the item you want to exchange
  • Tell us the size you need instead
  • We'll send you return instructions and a new order confirmation

Defective or Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or is significantly different from what was shown on the website, we'll make it right. Contact us within 14 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the issue
  • A brief description of the problem

We'll either send a replacement or issue a full refund, depending on the situation and your preference.

Wrong Item Received

If we sent you the wrong item, we apologize. Contact us immediately and we'll ship the correct item at no cost to you.

Refunds

Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after we receive and verify the return. The refund will be issued to your original payment method.

Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Items damaged by the customer after delivery
  • Items washed or worn (except to try on for fit)
  • Items returned after 14 days
  • Sale or clearance items (unless defective)
